Yes, there are many SWAT Team members that have
lost their lives in the line of duty.
What kind of problems does SWAT
handle?
Hostage, high risk warrants, barricaded
suspects, snipers, riots, bomb threats ect.
Who does SWAT work for?
SWAT can work for either the Police Department
or Sheriff Department.
Are SWAT Team members normal
cops during the day?
Some departments they are some there not.
How can I work for SWAT?
Talk to your local Police or Sheriff Dept. if
they have a team they will tell you.
What does it
take to become a SWAT Team Member?
Excellent shot, great physical and mental
capability, etc. (Do the same as above, just ask)
Is there
anything I can do now to get ready for SWAT?
Yes, pratice your shooting skills, and be in
good phiscical condition.
What is the most
common weapon SWAT uses?
Probley the Heckler & Koch 9mm MP5
Submachine Gun.
What is the
second?
Either the Colt .45, Glock .40-.45, or the Smith
& Wesson .40-.45
Does SWAT use
anything like mase?
SWAT does not use mase but the do use CS gas,
and flashbangs.
Can women join
SWAT?
Yes, I do not know a SWAT unit that dosent.
Is SWAT just a
game or is it real?
SWAT is very real they work very hard every day
to save lives like yours.
What is the best
SWAT team is the world?
I don't think anyone knows, "I like Los
Angles CA and Nashville TN SWAT unit."
Does SWAT use
helmets and tactical vests?
Yes, most of the time. They always use vests but
some times they leave the helmets.
